 Veterans Day Parade                       Posted Oct. 15, 2007

Join VFP in the annual Veterans Day parade in Downtown Indianapolis.  To participate in this year's Veterans Parade plan to assemble on the north east side of the War Memorial at 10:45 am on Sunday November 11, 2007.  There will be a quiet memorial service in Memorial Plaza honoring those killed in the Iraq War immediately after the parade.

IUPUI Network in the works            Posted Oct. 15, 2007

VFP is joining with IUPUI University to establish a support network for returning veterans.  We have made significant progress working with students, staff and administration in creating a more veteran friendly envirornment at IUPUI.  To date we have assisted in creating a veteran student organization, organized a PTSD Training on October 11, 2007 and a Stand-Down on campus Novemver 8, 2007.
